Humberto

Early Thursday morning, September 12, 2007, High Island, Texas experienced an almost direct hit from Hurricane Humberto. There was alot of storm damage in the community and power was out for several days.  Although I missed it, First Baptist Church was able to hold regular Sunday Worship services.  High Island received alot of coverage in the media due to it being the closest point of landfall for Humberto.  And High Island recevied alot of help from several service organizations.
